The first day that changed my life was the day I married my best friend for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. The second day that changed my life was the day was the day I saw this..
Once I had my IUD taken out I got pregnant not even 2 weeks later. I wanted Scott to be able to be at the first appointment before he left for the summer and luckily my doctor was able to squeeze us in on April 20. The only problem with this was we were supposed to be at my brother's graduation at the same time. We didn't tell anyone we were going to be late. I can't even describe how it felt to see that my tiny little baby was really there! Dr. J said I was ten weeks along which was more than I was thinking I was! We got in our car afterward to head to the graduation and both Scott and I were in 7th Heaven! We had agreed not to tell anyone except for close family until we were further along. However, Scott was so excited he wanted to shout it from the rooftop! So I agreed to let him call a few people and tell them on the way down.
We made it to the graduation in time to see Douglas walk and get his diploma (despite the fact that I parked on the complete opposite side of BYU campus and we ended up hiking up to the right building). At the gathering afterward we told my mom and grandma that Scott had an early Mother's day present for them since he was going to be gone.
This is what they got...
Smiles ensued afterward...
